Growing up in the bubble that is Irvine, CA and then moving to the semi–gay mecca of Long Beach, CA, Kurtis Kennington was born to destroy limitations and make everything FABULOUS. Kurtis has had a constant interest in motion graphics, animation, as well as graphic design since the movie Toy Story. Kurtis earned his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from CalArts (California Institute of the Arts) in 2008. Through his passion for the culinary world of confections Kurtis acquired his alter ego; Kake. Kake pushes the boundaries of both confections and graphic design by fusing the two together completely.
